01Can you skim coat over old paint?+
Sometimes, but only after checking adhesion, strength, contamination, cracks and compatibility. Weak or problematic coatings must be removed or repaired first.
02How many skim and paint coats are required?+
It depends on substrate, required flatness, selected compound and paint, and lighting. The proposal should define the expected result and included stages, not rely on one universal number.
03What is the difference between drywall joint treatment and full skim coating?+
Joint treatment levels the board joints to the contracted standard. Full skim coating treats the entire surface for more uniform texture and flatness, especially under demanding light.
04Do you offer machine-applied skim coat and airless painting?+
Yes, where area, access and site conditions justify it. Machine application speeds up placement but does not replace preparation, flatness checks, sanding or precise protection.
05Must the room be completely empty?+
An empty room is safer and more efficient. If furniture remains, the proposal must define what is moved, by whom and what level of protection is feasible.
